The world already has one billion voices to read and listen to. It’s about time it hears yours.
You thought the same, but you are too busy scaling your business, listening to Mel Robbins’ incredible podcast before you read the next issue of Forbes, or managing the chaos of family life.
No shame in it. It’s just, you know you have a lesson to teach a broad audience, but the time is just not there…nor the amount of caffeine…nor the story telling skills it takes to write something that makes eyes fall into the pages and into your world.
Hi, I’m Daniel Bell and I write stuff. I spend 2-4 hours a day writing stuff or studying how to write stuff or read stuff that other writers have written. I also like people and that makes me want to ghost write for people.
People’s stories + creative writing = a happy me.
I had the honor of ghostwriting for my mother. In her book, Miracle Jane Doe, we explored a traumatic event that happened to a family member. Obviously, it was a tough process for us, but I still found joy in it because my mother was glad that someone else helped her realize her dream. I write more about the process here.
I know what I experienced is a small taste of what I will experience with people I don't know as well. To discover someone else's hero's journey, to learn what makes successful people tick, or what makes them find meaning in life is lifeblood to me. The joy of my learning about you will show up in our partnership in getting the book finished.
The time is never "exactly right" to do this
Nervous about working on your book? I understand.
Every time you think about the lesson you learned:
-The trauma rears its head stronger
-The voice of doubt asks if you are qualified to have this book written
-You doubt your story will make any impact
Yet still, the idea for the book does not leave your brain. Not completely, anyway.
If the idea doesn't leave you, that's a sign you need to get this book written. If not for anyone else, then for yourself. If
I may not be the right writer for it, but still, you should get it done. If I can lead you to the right writer, I promise I will do that for you.
